A street light functioning optimiser using IoT and also serving as a traffic data analyser.
The problem Stark_IoT SSLS solves
Street lights may be a necessity but they are not at all energy efficient in conventional systems which just involves deliberately switching them on from dusk to dawn. This results in arcane power wastage which has to be optimised to avoid indeliberate wastage of energy resource.
Challenges we ran into
Interfacing the Bolt Iot Wifi Module with the Arduino Uno was a tedious task for us. We were trying it for the first time and the lack of proper online help resources on the matter also didn't help. With further contemplation and deliberation, we came to the conclusion to try out a simpler method on the matter and we could finally get quite satisfactory results.
