The problem Speeks solves

Speaking Skill plays an important role in one's personal and professional life. Most of us don't have oratry skills which can hinder our carrer growth. So we proposed a software "Speaks" to overcome all these hurdles. It is an application which revolve around solving the public speaking problems and act as personal public speaking analyser which detect your flaws and help you improving your public speaking/speaking skills. We analyze person's grammartical errors in speech his text emotions as well as facial expressions. Confidence being a important aspect of speech. We use cutting edge maching learning technology to predict confidence in speech.

Challenges we ran into

It was a big project from training to deploying machine learning models. From integrating and managing backend on Nodejs to connecting it with frontend we faced a lot of difficulties. The backend part was mostly complete but the integration of backend with frontend was half baked. But still we managed to make a workable demo by investing all the time in our hand sacrifing our sleep.
