  1. Democratizing Art: Our platform democratizes manga creation by allowing aspiring artists, regardless of drawing skills, to generate captivating comic strips using advanced GAN models.
  2. Creator-Fan Connection: Through our decentralized platform, creators and fans seamlessly connect. Fans can follow and support their favorite artists directly, creating a vibrant community.
  3. Monetization Made Simple: Artists can monetize their talent by accepting commissions from fans. The decentralized nature of the platform ensures fair compensation and financial transparency. Subscribers can also contribute directly to their favorite artists, fostering a sustainable ecosystem where creativity is rewarded.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Finding a dataset with Sequential Comic Strips:
    • Issue: Locating a dataset containing comic strips in a sequential order that is readily available for download.
    • Resolution: Torrenting a manga proved to be a viable solution, allowing us to extract images in the required order for dataset creation.
  2. Selecting a Suitable GAN Architecture within Hackathon Timeframe:
    • Issue: Identifying and implementing a GAN architecture that could be trained effectively within the limited hackathon timeframe.
    • Resolution: Opted for a pre-trained model from the stability-diffusion framework, saving valuable time and ensuring efficient image generation.
  3. Integration Bug with NextJS and Huddle01 API:
    • Issue: Encountering a bug in NextJS while integrating the GAN model and implementing the Huddle01 API, particularly with the use of

    • Resolution: Overcame the hurdle by troubleshooting the bug and adjusting the code accordingly, ensuring a smooth integration between NextJS and the Huddle01 API.
  4. Metamask Deployment Bugs:

    • Resolution: Successfully addressed the issue by reinstalling the Metamask extension, resolving deployment obstacles promptly.
  5. Limited Documentation for Huddle01's Services:
    • Issue: Confronted challenges due to a lack of clear documentation for Huddle01's services.
    • Resolution: Navigated through the source code to understand and implement Huddle01's services, compensating for the lack of comprehensive documentation.
      These challenges were navigated through a combination of creative problem-solving, collaborative efforts, and strategic decision-making, ensuring the project's successful development within the constraints of the hackathon.
