Vaitheeswaran Janakiraman

A full stack web2, web3 developer DevOps practitioner, I have a lot of experience in all the domains. Prior experience includes Fidelity Investments where I worked on a VPN appliance monitoring dashboard and developed a key automation in the healthcheck process. I also previously worked at The Renal Project where I setup pipelines for deployment, managed servers and setup a lot of self hosted open source software, using PromQL and Grafana, and using Vue.js for the frontend. Was awarded Star Performer during my tenure as well.
I've built multiple dApps on Ethereum and other L2 chains, making complex contracts in Solidity and worked with **Filecoin, IPFS, geth, ethers.js, The Graph **etc. I have also worked with Solana, Hyperledger and ICP.
Besides web3 projects, I have primarily normal webapps or setting up scripts for deployments with Istio, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub actions and Gitlab such as ones for my college club, like official club website, and admin site, job queues based video processing site, placement portal and Discord bot for the college, tracker app and HRV heatmap site using GDELT dataset.

The Renal Project - Frontend and DevOps Intern
March 2022 - September 2022
- Led the team and hugely contributed to
  the official website
- Designed the DevOps hiring assessment
  for Terraform, Kubernetes and Docker
- Worked mostly on setting up the CI/CD
  pipelines for multiple codebases with
  Gitlab and Docker. Also set up containers
  (and performed server-adminstration) for
  reverse-proxy servers (Nginx and
  Nginx-proxy-manager), platforms like
  JupiterMeet, JitsiMeet, NextCloud,
  Portainer and analytics like Uptime-Kuma.
  Documented all the CI/CD implemented
  in a Jekyll site, also Dockerised and
  deployed.
