The problem Warhead solves

We wanted a fun game inspired by Pokemon Go with a sense of adventure mixed with community rewards. Bring your community together to a location with incentives in a fun packed action adventure game.
Warhead is an interactive treasure hunt and community game designed to engage users in two modes: Open Drop and Friend-to-Friend Drop. The game leverages geolocation to create immersive and fun experiences for both individual users and groups.

Challenges we ran into

GPS spoofing is a known issue and there isn't a simple solution to address this atm. We would like to add some measures to ensure users are actually in the area they claim they are, like NFC tagging or QR scanning but for the scope of the hackathon we assume that the readings from the GPS are accurate.
