Beyond screens, into the realm: Websocket-powered 3D immersion on EVM via Tableland and DataverseOS.

The problem WarField solves

  • Bridging the Web3 Chasm: Forget clunky metaverses and boring token sinks. Our native Web3 FPS built on Tableland plunges players directly into the heart of the action, engaging the crypto community right where they live. We're not offering a gateway to Web3, we're building the destination.
  • Slaying the SDK Hydra: No more SDK sprawl! Dataverse, our unified Web3 data framework, wrangles the beast into a single, elegant solution. Developers rejoice, one API to rule them all!
  • Real-Time Revolution: Forget choppy lag and asynchronous delays. Websockets power our game, delivering instantaneous action and hair-trigger responsiveness. Prepare for a Web3 FPS where every millisecond counts!

Challenges we ran into

  • Mastering new platforms like DataverseOS and navigating Tableland contracts presented significant challenges. Integrating these systems with the game frontend proved to be a demanding task.
  • Developing a 3D game using react three fibre posed considerable difficulty.
  • Crafting the comprehensive user experience for the game required dedicated time and effort, resulting in a web3 native gaming experience.
  • Implementing websockets to enable multiplayer functionality and facilitate the seamless transmission of information throughout the game presented its own set of challenges.
