The problem VotETH solves

The Aadhar-Verified On-chain Voting System addresses the challenges associated with traditional voting systems by leveraging Aadhar, a unique identification system in India. This blockchain-based voting system enhances the security, transparency, and efficiency of the voting process.

Key Benefits:

Identity Verification : Utilizes Aadhar card to ensure a secure and verified identity for voters.

Transparency: The use of blockchain ensures a transparent and tamper-proof record of votes, reducing the risk of fraud and manipulation.

Accessibility: Enables remote voting, making it more convenient for individuals who may face barriers in physical participation.

Efficiency: Streamlines the voting process, reducing the time and resources required for manual counting and verification.

Security: Blockchain encryption enhances the security of the entire voting infrastructure, safeguarding against cyber threats.

Challenges we ran into

This project has posted us with many challenges. Building with either Typescript and Next.js was completely new to all of us and we faced lot of issues adapting to these new frameworks since their working slightly different from traditional react applications. We have also tried to integrate Safe AA Auth kit to onboard user, however the kit had many version dependancy issues and eventually we had to drop using the kit to continue the project.
