Most blockchain-based applications are too difficult for non-crypto users to interact with. To even obtain crypto to interact with the platform, a user will need to undergo KYC with an onramp and these attempts to onramp fail 2/3 of the time with even the best onramp aggregators.
We made it possible for someone to make credit card payments on-chain to a platform using a non-custodial wallet, thereby making blockchain applications accessible to billions more people.
So many.
Crowdfunded prizes work like this:
-Someone adds an idea
-People crowdfund a prize for someone to build that idea
-Contestants add submissions of evidence that they built it
-Funders vote on the winners
Voting on who wins required careful consideration of what happens if someone forgets to vote. We decided to have any used votes direct where the unused votes go. If there are no used votes, then a dispute function is called where we as admins look into the winner. The dispute function can also be called by a contestant if they disagree with the results. All these realizations occurred after many errors in testing that showed us what we were missing.
We anticipate the greatest hurdles moving forward will be legal advice and we would welcome assistance on this.
