The problem Vehicle Tracking App solves

The app can be used to ensure one does not cross the speed limit while driving. I can be both used personally or for monitoring other drivers. The app sends alerts as soon as the preset speed limit is crossed. The app was targeted to be used by school buses.

Challenges I ran into

Working with Maps API and handling all the API requests in the background was tough. I used the official Android documentation and read some blogs on these topics which helped.
