The problem Storyverse solves
A Generative AI based game for readers and novelists.
Usually, when you read books it's a one way communication and your imagination is limited to the writers thinking. Now, with storyverse you can emserse yourself into reading completely becuase your actions will determine what will happen next.
Targetted to increase attention span of people especially students.
At the end of the game, you can collect the image generated from your ingame experience as NFT on Flow blockchain and trade it later.
Technologies:
- ChatGPT: For creative stories, and text-based gameplay
- DALL-E: For generating NFT art from the storyverse
- Flow Blockchain: For saving the game progress in form of NFT resource and making those tradeable, so people can buy interesting stories from each other on any NFT marketplace and continue the game from the point other left. All the conversation is recorded in Metadata View.
The Flow blockchain provides the storage layer for the game progress in a very creative and fun way, which in long-term enables shared gameplays and in-game economy.
Challenges I ran into
Tried Flow Blockchain for the very first time.
So I watched, the videos on writing contracts, transactions & scripts. It was a great fun, and I loved how smooth onboarding for users is possible with the wallet discovery on Flow.
Coming from an Ethereum background, there's definately a lot of things I got to learn and would love to extend this project further and resolve some issues that are still left :)
