SolHire

We help users hire freelancers/full-time/part-time employees through a secure decentralized network.

The problem SolHire solves

Most of the freelancing platforms are biased towards the client, employers often have more power than freelancers in terms of dispute resolutions, governance and fees. The users are taking a huge risk of entursting their trust on the middle man who can be the websites they find the jobs or anyone else. A small error from their part can remove whole previous job/payment data which might affect in a bad way for the user. The user has to blindly trust the middle man to recieve his payment after the work, which might be sometimes a huge amount of money. On top of that the user have to pay a part of his earning to the middle man also.

We solve this using a decentralized netword where the user also get equal priority. We are implementing an Escrow system, which is a contractual arrangement in which a third party receives and disburses money or property for the primary transacting parties, with the disbursement dependent on conditions agreed to by the transacting parties. So we ensure that the employee and employer both of them get's what the need, in a more safer way. By decentralizing this platform, we are removing the middle man power hence the user need not pay even a single part of his earning as charges to the middle man.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing Solana smart contracts using Rust, was new for the team, which was a very big hurdle to jump across.
