As young women, we noticed that a women’s mental and physical health is stigmatized and not talked about enough in our society. More often than not, women struggle in silence. From our own experiences and the experiences of the women around us, we have noticed a distinct lack of information and support. Even with healthcare workers, it has been found that male doctors are less empathetic towards female healthcare conditions, and women often find it easier to connect with female doctors.
FemCare is a website designed to share accurate information regarding various medical conditions and diseases that women suffer from. We also share resources about financial support, medical consultation, and community centers. This makes it easier for women to find all the information they need regarding a certain medical condition in one place.
