  • Omdena - Machine Learning Engineer (Volunteer)
    January 2021 - Present

    • Worked in the areas of Fake News detection, Monitoring war crimes through Social Media, and Early-Stage Forest Fires Detection.
    • Managed different teams like Deployment and Data Preparation, and ensured the completion of tasks within schedules, and goals.
    • Collected and labeled relevant data for different contexts and projects, obtained insights from data through statistical analysis and visualizations.
    • Delivered models and end-to-end Machine Learning training and inference pipelines to leverage data-driven decisionmaking
    by stakeholders.

  • Dryad Networks - Machine Learning Engineer
    December 2021 - February 2022

    • Was selected for this project as a part of the Omdena Talent initiative for successfully leading the deployment team in the initial project.
    • Worked on creating end-to-end Machine Learning training and inference pipelines, and their deployment with AWS and Docker, to detect early-stage forest fires.

  • Textify AI - Machine Learning (NLP) Intern
    November 2021 - February 2022

    • Worked on leveraging Natural Language Processing (NLP) to help students write college admission essays.
    • Implemented features like text paraphrasing, synonym suggestion, and text style transfer (casual to formal, active to passive).
    • I also improved the accuracy of the predictive writing feature using Named Entity Recognition in the brainstorming section.
