The problem Share The Meal solves

Food is wasted every day and in every locality. Still, a lot of people are not able to manage two meals a day. We find that there are a lot of NGOs working in the same domain, yet they are not able to function properly.​

We aim to bridge this gap using our 'ShareTheMeal' platform. We plan to build a platform in which users can post their food.​

Based on the location of the user, we'll find nearby NGO's. These NGO's will then be notified and they can now pick the food and deliver to the needy ones.​

This helps in efficient functioning of NGO's as well as reduces food wastage.​

In future, this can be extended to other entities such as clothes, books, etc.​

Challenges we ran into

Integrating various tech stacks and api with Flutter was challenging. Overall, it a learning experience.
