Challenges we ran into
Challenges Encountered During Project Development
During the development of our project, we encountered several challenges that tested our skills and teamwork. Here are some of the major hurdles we faced and how we overcame them:

API Development: Creating our own APIs was a novel experience for our team. Initially, we struggled with this task, grappling with issues of design and functionality. To mitigate these challenges, we extensively utilized Postman for testing our API endpoints, ensuring they met the required specifications and performed as expected.

Complex Backend Integration: Integrating various components such as Neural Machine Translation (NMT), Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Text-to-Speech (TTS), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) posed a significant challenge. To address this, we implemented specialized pipelines for each task, streamlining the workflow and enhancing efficiency. These pipelines facilitated seamless interaction between different modules, thereby optimizing the overall performance of the backend system.

Version Control and Collaboration: With a substantial amount of code being developed from scratch, keeping track of changes made by team members was crucial. Leveraging the capabilities of GitHub Version Control, we established efficient workflows for code management and collaboration. This enabled seamless synchronization of codebase across team members, ensuring everyone had access to the latest updates and modifications.

Code Generation and Documentation: Developing a considerable amount of code, including redundant sections, necessitated efficient strategies for code generation and documentation. To address this challenge, we utilized GitHub Copilot as a pair programming tool, leveraging its AI-powered assistance to streamline code development and documentation processes. This approach significantly expedited the project's progress within the stipulated timeframe.
