Akash Mondal

I am Akash Mondal, currently pursuing my Bachelors in Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering with a specialization in Cyber Physical Systems at VIT Chennai. I have a strong passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence. I actively experiment with state-of-the-art computer vision, natural language processing and multimodal models to push boundaries in AI capabilities. Through various solo projects, I have worked extensively on leveraging generative AI for solving real world problems. I have won hackathons based on my work with generative models. My proficiency lies in leveraging libraries like TensorFlow and PyTorch to build and deploy machine learning solutions. I also have skills in MLOps which allows me to seamlessly test and deploy models to production. Driven by curiosity, I wish to carry out interdisciplinary research at the intersection of multimedia, vision and language to create innovative applications of deep learning. I aspire to be an applied AI scientist and contribute to advancements in AI that have a positive impact on society.
