The problem Samajik Network solves

Helps in connecting needful NGOs to volunteers by creating an end-to-end service platform where NGOs can create events and volunteers can join them.

• Eliminates the need for multiple third-party apps like google forms, WhatsApp forwards, etc
• Allows volunteers to sign in once and then join as many online or offline events without refilling multiple forms.
• Volunteer data can be stored temporarily or permanently.
• No need to manage data manually.
• Allow NGOs to manage their volunteer data and keep track of hours, status, reports, etc.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was Deploying the completed project on the internet. Since we were using free hosting services, there was a cap to the serverless function size almost everywhere.
After several failed attempts we finally hosted it on pythonanywhere.com.

Everything else was smooth sailing even though the project was complicated and elaborate.
