POWERBALD

POWERBALD

Deploy a lottery to raise funds for a community or a cause

The problem POWERBALD solves

Lotteries and gambling are stigmatised. But in reality they are fun games, that can provide a very engaging way to raise funds for a specific cause, if run by the right people. Until now, lotteries have been hard to democratise and are mostly intransparent. So we decided to give this controversial topic a spin and allow anybody to create a transparent, verifiable, scalable and fair lottery game that can be used, for example to raise funds for an onchain community, a DAO, or a specific cause in an engaging way.

Challenges we ran into

Overestimated time, as usual.

There's no tooling and no documentation for Fe. But we managed to build what we wanted.
