The problem MAKSHealth - Health Information User Mobile App solves

MAKSHealth will solve the problem of accessibility of affordable, private health care for Blue Collar workers like Maid servants, drivers, housekeeping staff, domestic cooks, mall staff and workers in Shops, etc.

These category of citizens earn more than INR 10,000 and that puts them out of the bucket to avail Government driven Insurance schemes like Ayushman Bharat or State run schemes like Arogyashri.

But, they need help in medical emergencies and the main contact they would approach in case of any medical emergency is the owner or service consumer, who is paying them every month for the services rendered by them.

There are more than 200 Million Blue Collar Workers and Domestic help servants in India.

Through MAKSHealth they would be able to Onboard, Underwrite and get access to Insurance Policy under few mins.
During their Hospitalisation they would be able to Digitally get admission and settle their claims.
Their Personal Health Records during this process would be updated and will be accessible for future Health needs.

The physical health records of these workers would be automated to Digital platform using NDHM, HIP, NHS stack.

Challenges we ran into

The datasets for getting accurate information on Blue Collar Workers and Domestic help was not available.
Challenges in market survey and understanding if the consumer is willing to pay for these services.
