The idea stemmed from a desire of having truly blind hiring empowered by zkps. This evolved into a platform to match emploers with employees and employees with opportunities. The platform was also to have a rating system built in, based on the estimation of skills needed for a job, time spent on the job, and reviews left by the users.
The biggest challenge we faced was the internet of the venue. We lost more than twelve hours due to incosistent connectivity. There were long stretches where we couldn't even git fetch and git push!
In the technologies, we ran into issues for both the integrations. With Polygon ID, there were a lot of limitations in the schema for the claims to be verified and we had to work around in often counter productive ways to overcome them. With Push chat, the main issue was that the SDK was in JS while our client was in iOS. Moreover, there were no ways to circumvent the SDK like using REST calls. We spent a significant time trying to run JS on WebKit but that gained complexity quick since there were negligible documentation on the JS SDK.
