Hi!
A little introduction about myself ,
I am Krishna Venkatramani , I graduated from University of Southampton as a Mechanical Engineer (BEng + MEng) , although I enjoyed studying Mechanical Engineering , I felt like I was missing something that kept me excited regularly and with some exposure to the software development space during my time at University, I decided to give software development a shot !
I started off with Web Dev but gravitated towards iOS because I believe most of the people around this world access the internet through their smart-phones and with the recent developments in the mobile space and evolution of computing power of smartphones , I was convinced that mobile apps is and will be the major medium of communication for any platform therefore spurring me to contribute to this space !
With this realization, I started working on fun side projects , exploring different technologies like Augmented Reality etc. and built as many app as I could!, which as a result, gave me enough knowledge and experience to work with Rain as a iOS Developer!
My Objectives
With my recent experience in the cryptocurrency field , albeit in a trading platform, I am convinced that Cryptocurrency is a technology that is hear to stay and will only evolve further into its theoretically potential. With that in mind, I pursued learning and hone my blockchain smart contract development skills to build some interesting projects. While learning and experimenting , I participated in a hackathon , as recent as Sept 12'22 , where we were tasked with building a fintech solution that offered characteristics of modern fintech applications.
We came up with a solution where we were using Dynamically generated QR code and blockchain technologies to build a seamless payment platform that monetizes user's transactional data which rewards users with our custom tokens.
We won the most creative prize at the hackathon which made us believe in the product more. Along with the prize , we received interest from a lot of people who were at the hackathon on how we were going to take this further, this spurred us to pursue our idea because of its potential; therefore we decided to stick together as a group committed with developing the idea to Prototype stages.
We are keen to come to ETHIndia and build out our product for the judges to evaluate and see this as an amazing opportunity to build some useful connections in the ever growing Blockchain community in India.
