Javin v0.2
AI search engine for crypto and on-chain data (Zeta Mode)
The problem Javin v0.2 solves
Crypto’s biggest challenge isn’t awareness — it’s the steep learning curve after entry. Even for experienced users, simple tasks like finding a bridge between Solana and Zetachain can take minutes. On-chain data is no better — blockchain explorers are complex and frustrating to use.
Javin.ai changes that.
Powered by AI, Javin delivers real-time, plain-English answers to your crypto questions. Whether you're checking wallet balances, tracking token movements, or exploring new ecosystems, Javin makes it instant and effortless. Just ask.
User Interaction and Data Flow
Using Javin.ai is as easy as using Perplexity.
Simply go to Javin.ai and sign up.
Once you're logged in, you can save and revisit previous searches.
You can ask anything related to crypto, on-chain data, or blockchain trends, and Javin.ai will deliver the insights you need.
Modes of Javin.ai
Javin offers multiple search modes to help users tailor their experience based on what they need.
- Basic Search — Retrieve web-based crypto info, search wallet portfolios, and look up token details.
- Onchain Mode — Explore Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) transactions, contract interactions, and transaction histories.
- Zeta Mode — Ask about anything happening on the Zeta blockchain with real-time insights into its ecosystem.
AI Model Options
Users can select GPT-4 for detailed responses or GPT-4 Mini for speed. More models, including Grok, DeepSeek, and Dobby, will be available soon.

Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project
Key Differentiators and Uniqueness
- AI-Powered Search: Unlike traditional blockchain explorers, Javin.ai allows users to ask crypto questions in plain English and get real-time answers.
- Multiple Search Modes: Javin supports web search, Onchain, Zeta, and Flow modes to tailor insights for different ecosystems.
- Fast and Intuitive: Javin delivers insights in seconds, eliminating the complexity of blockchain data navigation.
- Developer-Friendly API: Developers can access Javin’s capabilities through simple API endpoints for seamless integration.
- Dynamic AI Model Selection: Users can switch between GPT-4 for detailed insights and GPT-4 Mini for faster responses, with more models like Grok and Dobby coming soon.
- PWA Support: Optimized for mobile, ensuring a smooth experience with offline functionality.
Comparison with Similar Projects:
While tools like Etherscan, Solscan, and DeBank offer detailed data, they require technical knowledge and manual navigation. Javin.ai simplifies this by delivering clear, concise insights directly through chat, making blockchain data accessible to everyone.
Trade-offs and shortcuts while building
Trade-offs and Shortcuts
- Model Selection: Chose GPT-4 and GPT-4 Mini for flexibility and speed, delaying the integration of additional models like Grok and Dobby.
- UI Simplicity: Focused on a minimal interface to prioritize usability, with plans to expand features post-hackathon.
- Data Sources: Integrated core data providers like Alchemy and Zeta Explorer for reliability but will be building an indexer of our own.
- Search Optimization: Developed a streamlined query parsing system for faster deployment, with plans to refine complex query handling later.
These trade-offs allowed us to ship quickly while ensuring Javin.ai remains fast, effective, and user-friendly.
Additional Features
Additional Features
During the hackathon, we introduced several new features and improvements to Javin.ai:
- Zeta Mode: Added a dedicated mode to deliver real-time insights and data retrieval from the Zeta blockchain.
- Branding: Javin has came out of the hackathon look and now has a logomark with brand guidelines
Improved Search Accuracy:** Enhanced Javin’s natural language processing to better interpret crypto-specific queries. - Faster Response Times: Optimized query handling and data retrieval for quicker insights.
- API Endpoints: Created permissioned API endpoints which will enable any Dapp to search onchain easily.
These additions significantly improved Javin.ai’s functionality, making blockchain data easier to access and understand.
