PyPDF2 gives a dumped text version of the pdf(Resume that was uploaded). finding out the names of competitions which is unique and cannot be matched with meta-data.
nltk
Lack of experience with nltk, we couldnt create a proper nlp model for cleaning the dumped text of the resume. we had to use rudimentary algorithms for data cleaning.
optimizing and generalizing the algorithm
The algorithm took 3 main criteria. Adding new data messed up with the weights given and also the final score of the candidate.
