The problem Hair Haulers solves
Human hair is considered a waste material in most parts of the world. Half of the masses consider human hair useless and often dump it as municipal waste. Many industries(wig making, manure making, fabric making, medical industry, etc) rely on hair as a key raw material, yet it is often overlooked. The inability to transport raw materials to the designated location is a huge issue. So we are focusing on serving as the intermediary between salons and industries, facilitating the connection and promoting effective partnerships.
This new, simplified solution for salons will help them to monetize their excess hair which they earlier dumped it without knowing its value. With just a few easy steps to enter the details, our delivery service will come to collect it, making the process effortless and convenient.
With our unwavering commitment to quality, industries can trust in the reliability of our company as every product is subjected to rigorous testing to guarantee exceptional service. For the convenience of industries, all they have to do is provide their location information and specify their hair requirements and our dedicated delivery team will take care of delivering it right to their doorstep.
Our waste hair utilization initiative is dedicated to providing job opportunities for the local community, thereby enhancing their employment prospects and contributing to the growth of the local economy.
Challenges we ran into
While making the website, there were a lot of challenges, the major three challenges were :
- While merging a live location tracking system with the codes
- Creating the content for our website.
- Hosting the website on the GitHub account.
Despite facing numerous challenges while implementing the live location tracker code due to our lack of familiarity with it, we persevered and eventually succeeded in bringing the code to life. Initially, the tracker was static, but we were able to resolve this issue by implementing another code to make it dynamic. However, additional issues arose, but through persistence and determination, we were able to resolve these problems and make the tracker live. The implementation of the permission pop-up was also a crucial step in the process.
The task of writing completely innovative content was a challenge as the idea was truly groundbreaking. Despite this, we approached it with unwavering dedication and focus to ensure it was expressed correctly. The process required a significant amount of effort to carefully choose the appropriate words and place them in the right manner. At times, we experienced confusion and had to make minor adjustments, but our persistence resulted in a well-crafted final product.
We faced some challenges while hosting our website on our GitHub account. Initially, there were errors from the GitHub side, so we tried using a different team member's account, which ultimately proved successful. However, once the website was hosted, we encountered issues with certain pages and had to track down the errors and re-host the site. The process took a considerable amount of time to resolve.
