The problem GiftaMatic solves

Nowadays one of the important use-cases of Blockchain is donations. Donations support different causes and give pleasure and satisfaction to the donor. We have seen in recent times that Cryptocurrencies were used the most by countries going through war for donations from the whole world.

It is good that we are able to achieve this using blockchain. But today's donations campaigns are missing the purpose.

People are asking for donations in blockchain but were not able to properly communicate the purpose of the donation. And another big problem is of promoting donations. People love to donate but they also want the status of being a donor and motivating other people to donate. But it's not possible with the current system of donations.

GiftaMatic solves this problem, it incentivizes people to create donation campaigns on the blockchain by gifting them GFT tokens. These GFT tokens are non-transferrable and can only be earned through donating on the platform.

Challenges we ran into

Since this is our first blockchain project, we have to learn a lot about the fundamentals like smart contracts, standards and have to make sure that things work as we expect. We focused more the blockchain side than the frontend and now we are working on improving that for a better user experience.
