The problem FVM Credential solves

FVM Credential has the potential to provide a simple and efficient solution for users who want to secure their documents and private data. Some of the specific problems it solves are:

  • Securily verifying the credentials of a user through ZK Proof.
  • Ensuring the privacy and security of sensitive documents and data, by keeping them on the user's device at all times and not sharing them with external servers or systems.
  • Providing an easy-to-use interface for users to securely store and access their data without needing technical expertise.
  • Provides easy-to-use SDK for developers to integrate FVM Credentials into their applications.
  • Eliminating the need for users or the contract to maintain the Merkel information and in fact any additional data structures or systems for managing their data, thanks to the use of FVM and IPFS for storing and verifying data.
  • Reducing the computational and economic costs of storing and accessing data, thanks to the efficient design of the project to reduce the number of updates on the FVM.

Business Use Cases:

  • It could be used to securely verify sensitive data such as customer information, financial records and other types of confidential information which are verified discretely.

Challenges we ran into

One of the major challenges we ran into was integrating, synchronizing and updating multiple DID libraries into the FVM. Took us a lot of debugging to solve it.
