Usually in events there is always extra amount of food prepared, but in most cases the food is left-over and further wasted.
Our platform enables people to easily donate this food with the help of volunteers/NGOs around them.
People can list-out the events in the app which will be visible to the NGOs and they can pick up the left out food.
We faced a little bit of difficulty using our API on localhost from Android Emulator, but we solved it using a great tool called ngrok.
We tried implementing a Machine Learning Model for prediction of amount of food waste but couldn't finish it because of the lack of datasets.
