It is challenging for many to track their expenses, especially the novice who has just entered the workforce and the students who are given "pocket money" for monthly expenses from their parents. Also, saving and investing the money for the long run needs to become habitual for categories of spenders. Moreover, there isn't a solution in the market to solve the problem which is catering to the audience this audience and the apps available are heavy and clunky and made to track only online expenses through a debit or credit card i.e there is no choice of manual changes. There isn't any app that has all the study material for understanding the equities market in a single platform. We intended to solve these interlinked problems with a single mobile application.
So for solving these issues we have implemented various technology stacks such as Alan AI for a better user experience through the voice assistant.
Twilio for notifications and reminders over text messages and WhatsApp.
Firebase for user Authentication over mobile no through OTP.
Firestore for storing various user data and providing the best user experience.
In short, this is a complete finance package every person should use in order to manage their finances in a best possible way.
While developing this great idea into reality we faced many challenges from building a Figma design to the final prototype.
But during this HackOdisha 2.0 hackathon we ran into these challenges:-
1)Initially integrating Twilio was easy as a piece of cake but finding the best use case was the problem so we came up with an idea to integrate this Twilio messaging feature to send out the due amount to the contacts after splitting the bill in the Split Bill feature.
2)During Integrating Firebase for Authorization we faced an issue regarding the captcha validator after a lot of grinds we somehow found a way to tackle those hurdles and successfully register through mobile number in our Application.
