ENCAPS
A web app which provides a summary and also generates questions from the huge text given in the form of images, URL links of pages or directly copy-pasting the text to be summarized.
The problem ENCAPS solves
Bored of going through tons of text? Do your eyes hurt by looking at the screen and your head hurt by remembering all the facts thrown at you in the course? We are often baffled by the volume of coursework thrown at us. Seeing just the amount of text brings about anxiety and we end up procrastinating which eventually degrades our grades.
Well Voila! Suffer no more. We bring you ENCAPS.
ENCAPS is your study buddy who will help you to summarise your long texts to make it easy for you to learn. ENCAPS will also prepare questions for you which you can use to practice and refine your understanding and remember the important stuff. We use state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence and Natural language processing to make your learning more efficient and fun.
Challenges we ran into
- This was the first time we used flask for making a full stack project so we had to learn that properly and we had to face various problems while debugging.
- This was the first time we used GCP(Google Cloud Platform) platform for deploying our website. It was really difficult and our CPU crashed many times while deploying, which was again a major problem.
