EduProof
Anonymous education credential proving.
The problem EduProof solves
In the current education system, students are required to submit a multitude of sensitive documents to universities and scholarship providers to prove their eligibility for courses and financial aid. This process not only exposes their personal and private information but also increases the risk of data misuse and breaches.
The proposed solution addresses this problem by enabling students to prove their eligibility—such as Indian nationality, specific percentages in 10th and 12th grade, annual income below a scholarship threshold, and category status—without submitting their complete documents. Using privacy-preserving technologies like Anon Aadhaar and Anon DigiLocker, the project allows students to selectively disclose only the required information while keeping other sensitive data private. This ensures a seamless, secure, and privacy-focused verification process, reducing the risk of data leaks and enhancing trust between students and institutions.
Challenges we ran into
Anon Digilocker's documentation is not proper. There are so many errors that are not handled properly in the code base. We had to spend hours resolving the errors.
