Cryptography Security Researcher and Engineer at HashCloak

I am a Cryptography Security Researcher and Engineer at HashCloak, with a primary emphasis on the intersection of Blockchain and Zero-knowledge Proofs. My role involves researching, implementing, and auditing various cryptographic primitives and protocols to enhance the security and scalability of decentralized systems.

Professional Experience

At HashCloak, I have contributed to a wide range of cryptographic projects, including:

  • Implementation of various Elliptic Curves and Signature Schemes in Sway language for FuelLabs.
  • Development of a Burner Wallet using Web Authentication.
  • Pure Rust implementation of BN254 Hash-to-Curve.
  • Implementation of the BBS+ signature over BN254 and BLS12-381 in rust, along with writing a verifier contract in Solidity.
  • Fuzzing cryptographic libraries to identify vulnerabilities using tools like honggfuzz, AFL++, and libfuzzer.

In addition to my contributions to cryptographic libraries, I am experienced in Zero-Knowledge Proof languages and frameworks, such as Plonky2, Circom, and Leo, as well as programming languages like Rust, Golang, and C/C++. Previous Experience

Before joining HashCloak, I served as a Blockchain Research Intern at Persistence One, where I helped advance the development and understanding of blockchain technology.

Academic Background

I have completed an M.Tech. in Cryptology and Security from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, India, and have a strong academic background in Mathematics and Cryptography.

Hackathon and Recognition

I participated in ETHGlobal Waterloo 2023 and won a sponsor prize for developing a Burner Wallet using Risc0’s Bonsai and Web Authentication. View the project here.
