The problem Axion solves
Adoption Challenges
- Cryptocurrencies are widely gaining popularity and to make them more mainstream and usable, there has to be a platform where people can use them for daily payments(i.e shopping, restaurants, e-commerce, etc).
- To start accepting crypto payments for the web, the existing solutions are not very user-friendly(coinbase API requires intermediate knowledge of blockchain and backend to get started.)
Axion aims to be the RazorPay of the cryptocurrency domain.
Seamless crypto experience using axion.
- Easily create a merchant account using email & password.
- The private key and mnemonic will be completely owned by the merchant(thereby multiple wallets can also be used according to the merchant's convenience & personal use.)
- A dashboard containing all the transaction data(Covalent API) and payments to quickly access the stores' crypto payments.
- On the client-side, users will be able to able to checkout(complete payment) by connecting to popular crypto wallets such as MetaMask, Portis, Fortmatic, Torus(many more to come.)
- International sellers will benefit the most as the transaction fee is 0 and the transaction speed is flawless.(Transfers through Matic Network).
Challenges I ran into
The original wallet connection was done using Web3Modal, but that only connected to Portis via matic mainnet due to which I was unable to sign transactions.
Had to remove web3modal and connect to portis manually, hence was able to complete transactions via matic testnet(mumbai)
