Problem Statement:
Complex hexadecimal addresses hinder mainstream cryptocurrency adoption, posing a barrier for users to transact securely and easily.
What We Are Solving:
AliasChain simplifies cryptocurrency transactions by replacing addresses with user-friendly aliases. We reduce errors, enhance the user experience, and leverage HyperSDK's power for a better, more accessible crypto world.
During the development of a blockchain enabling transfers via alias names instead of wallet addresses, two main challenges arose. Firstly, managing the []byte data type proved to be a hurdle, likely due to complexities in data encoding or decoding typically in blockchain environments. Secondly, the registration of new actions in the code was unclear, leading to an 'unknown action type' error. Despite these challenges, the well-documented code served as a crucial resource for troubleshooting. Through diligent analysis and leveraging the documentation, the 'unknown action type' error was resolved, and new actions were successfully registered, paving the way for further progress in the project.
After facing and solving these problems during our project, we learned a lot more about HyperSDK. These issues actually helped us understand it better. Now, we plan to write a blog about what we learned to help others who might run into the same problems.
