The problem AccessVerse solves

Accessverse, the decentralized event management application, offers innovative solutions to the challenges faced by traditional centralized event management systems. One of the core issues it addresses is the elimination of intermediaries and the establishment of a transparent, fair, and decentralized ecosystem. Upon user registration, participants are rewarded with points that serve as incentives for engaging in events. These points enable users to create or join events, fostering a vibrant event community.
A pivotal problem solved by accessverse is the equitable distribution of revenue to event creators. By cutting out middlemen, creators can directly earn a fair share of the revenue generated from user participation. This shift not only empowers creators to retain a larger portion of their earnings but also reduces the overall costs of event management.
As accessverse evolves, it plans to replace the points system with tokens, offering users a more active stake in the ecosystem. Through token ownership, users gain voting rights and become integral to decision-making processes, making the platform more community-driven. The transition to tokens also enhances transparency and accountability, as all event-related transactions and data are recorded on a decentralized blockchain.
The decentralized nature of accessverse ensures borderless access, allowing users from all corners of the globe to participate in events without any geographical restrictions. With a focus on fairness, engagement, and cost-efficiency, accessverse revolutionizes the event management landscape, creating a platform where creators and participants mutually benefit from a decentralized and transparent event ecosystem.

Challenges we ran into

During the development of Accessverse, the decentralized event management application, the team encountered several challenges. Two prominent hurdles were:
Modelling a New Tech Stack on Ceramic: Integrating a new tech stack, particularly on Ceramic, likely presented difficulties for the development team. Ceramic is a decentralized data synchronization protocol that allows for seamless collaboration and data sharing across various applications. Implementing and integrating this new technology into the existing framework of Accessverse could have posed challenges due to its unique features, potential learning curve, and ensuring compatibility with other components of the application.
Structuring the Implementation of Tokenomics: Introducing a token-based system involves complex considerations for tokenomics, which encompasses various aspects like token distribution, utility, governance, and economic incentives. The team likely faced challenges in designing a well-balanced and sustainable token economy that adequately incentivizes user engagement while aligning the interests of event creators, participants, and the platform itself. Striking the right balance to ensure the token's long-term value and adoption may have required careful planning, iterations, and community feedback.
