Technology can be an enabler in women empowerment and can transform her world so we have developed an Android application that intends to empower women. Women can be said empowered when she feels safe, is financially stable, aware of their rights, is healthy, and is educated. So in our app, we have a live location tracking function that sends the location as SMS to their loved ones when the distance of a user changes by some kilometers. The location contains the exact address like area, colony, house no/Flat no. , pin code, city, state, and also latitude and longitude of the location. For finance, in our app we have a function of financial advisor whom she can talk to for all the finance-related issues, and also in there is a whole lot of information about the government schemes related to finances(like loans, fundings, etc). For health, she can search for the nearby health centers in our app, and also there is a lot of information regarding government health schemes. Also, using our app she can complain about any mishappening with her anonymously without fearing her identity to be disclosed, and also users can search nearby police stations using our app. And using our app she can contact women helpline at any point in time. Also in our app, there is a lot of information about NGOs that are working for women empowerment. The best part is that the app works in two languages i.e., Hindi and English so you can select between them and continue with it which results in fulfilling the needs of people of all different sections of society.
