Our project is an IoT based solution to the problems persistent in the wildlife sanctuaries, zoos, forests etc. The problems can be related to Forest fires, droughts etc.

The problem Stand_for_wildlife solves

Our project is an IoT based solution to the problems persistent in the wildlife sanctuaries, zoos, forests etc. The problems can be related to Forest fires, droughts etc. The sensors used in our project helps in determining the air quality, temperature, moisture content of the soil, haphazard motion of animals or human beings found in the forest / zoo. This helps in finding out the uneasy activites of the forest and hence protect the species, both of plants and animals. We have also included the idea of Machine learning for prediciting the upcoming Foret fire or drought like conditions. The wildlife authorities or the caretakers are notified via email or text about the alert. This proposed model is cheap and simple to use. The product can be put in a watrproof boz and installed on trees / branches / etc.

Challenges we ran into

Machine learning prediction for unsupervised learning, data collection on monhly / yearly basis due to lack of time for now.
