Project Grail

Our Project implements a effortless way to create Levels for different games efficiently, you just draw a level on a piece of paper and you would have a whole rendered game level on unity.

The problem Project Grail solves

Any person with no game development skills can create any level for a specific game only using its imagination, penning it on a piece of paper. Further, it reduces the exhausting time of creating layout for game developers and create an efficient system to develop game. And it would really simple for any developer to share its ideas with community on a whole new scale. As many illustrators can test their mindblowing ideas really simply, without any fuss. This revolutionary System would create a whole new way to create layout just on the base of drawings and everyone would be able to share their ideas and test them and play with their own creativity.

Challenges we ran into

There were a lot of hurdles that we ran into past 24 hours as, we first tried to implement it using pygame, as python code of OpenCV has better integration with it. But due to no pixel plotting support we went on to Unity Game Engine and created a rendering engine by pipelining 3 different languages as python is not widely integrated.Further,, Python Scripts are very versatile so we have to also hack that problem as well. So,It took a whole lot of time to create the system than expected. But Finally, It was completed.
