The problem AXIS Website solves
This project though built for a particular event has been designed by abstracting the general requirements for any event that are - auth system, email sending, blogging, event registrations and thus can be used as the template for any such technical/cultural college event by making the required frontend changes. A customized admin interface is also provided.
Challenges I ran into
Allowing users to register for multiple events and also handling constraints like authentication checks before privilege requests,
the registration deadline, unique user registration for each event was a challenge. The frontend requirement was also pretty complex requiring the use of advanced CSS and javascript. Also, one of the major challenges was the deployment of the application itself and making required changes on the live website as per the requirement.
