Paying gas for every transaction adds significant friction to the regular dapp UX flow. Relayers are a great option to pay gas on behalf of users so they can enjoy the web3 experience without having to worry about having enough tokens in their wallets for gas. We built a service that dapp developers can subscribe to and then use our SDK to plug into their apps, so they can subsidize gas for their users.
In the SDK we ran into the issue that the only way to sign a transaction is to export the user's controller's private key. This adds some complexity, and it would be nice to remove this in the future if we were able to sign the controller directly from the universal profile.
Time was a constraint so the UI is very minimal, All the other pieces of softer, including the backend and the SDK are fully working.
