The problem BCCI Cricket DAO solves

BCCI DAO is a Decentralized Autonomous Organization which allows cricket fans from around the world to take charge of the sport they love.

Sports ownership has largely been centralized. With the BCCI DAO, cricket fans can own a team, buy tickets, influence ticket prices, and change team lineup!

We used ReactJS for building the frontend, wrote smart-contracts using Solidity, tested them using Truffle and Hardhat. We used openzepplin contracts for implementing governance and ethersjs for allowing the client app to interact with the smart-contracts.

Challenges we ran into

We faced two main problems building this platform.

With lack of many references, ideation was the first big problem that we faced. It took us some time to come up with an idea that is both practical and viable in the current scenario.

The second major problem we faced was implementing governance in smart-contract given that this was the first time any of us created a DAO.
