Our project aims to ease teacher workloads, decrease labor costs, and allow more standardized essay grading.

Challenges we ran into

First, it was really hard to clean and train model that fits the data accurately. It was a long iterative process. Second, we had issue connecting React frontend to Django backend. We ran into some APIs issue. Documentation and tutorial of these frameworks helped us here.
