The problem FramePG solves
Our onchain public goods ecosystem currently has 3 main issues we are looking to solve. Complex Donation Process: We simplify the act of donating to public goods eliminating the need for bridging and extensive user verification. Sybil Resistance Verification: By leveraging Farcaster's user data, we streamline the verification process, ensuring donations come from genuine participants without the cumbersome Gitcoin passport requirements. Project Discoverability: We improve how donors find and engage with grant projects, using Farcaster's insights to curate and recommend projects that align with their interests and values. Ultimately, FramePG makes it easier and faster for individuals to donate to their favorite public goods.
Challenges we ran into
Farcaster was suppose to push their payment mechanism prior to the end of the hackathon but did not so we had to reconfigure how users could donate through the frame. The pictures below show our flow using gitcoin grants stack on base. As soon as Farcaster implements their payment mechanism we are going to push the intended flow so that users can donate on Base directly using Allo Protocol and Grants stack.
