The problem FaceReco solves
We understand people don't like waiting in lines. We don't like it either. Being associated with different communities. We understand the difficulties the attendees and organisers face in registration and verification part for an event. That's why we offer an easy and innovative self-service check-in solution for badge printing on-site.
Because of our application, the attendees for the event will now get seamless verification process.
The only entity they will require is their face for check-in which means reducing the hassle more the convenience. Now they don't need to carry tickets or any other paper-work for the authentication.
Our App also provides the organiser with a much more efficient and convenient way to authenticate the attendees/participants from there side. No, they don't need to maintain
multiple records for verification.
All this can be done just with our app and your face. Just register, walk-in with your charming and charismatic face
and voila!! you are the part of the event.
Challenges we ran into
The integration part of the application with our local flask server was really a tough task to achieve as we encountered bugs like How to send image file with some parameter in it?,
How to receive a the Detected person's details from the local server to our Application?.
The overall backend setup task was the pain for us to carry out.
The server connection part took most of our working part. To overcome these bugs we had to work really hard. We tried different solutions provided on the google, stack overflow etc.
The valuable guidance we received from the mentors present in the event and the help we received from the other fellow participants made this challenging task a fun and learning experience for us to achieve.
