The problem Bus Ticket Automation ( Ticket-Omate) solves

1. A user enters a bus , no longer he/she needs to buy tickets standing in queue , maintaining his balaance, waiting to purchase bus tickets , no more wastage of paper or keeping change for bus tickets , in fact there is no requirement for conductor as well .
2. Data Analysis, for traffic management, routes having heavy crowd and and at what time of day do we need to increase or decrease frequency of buses , helps in increasing revenue generation .
3. Real time and very accurate location of bus can be determined , availabilty of seats can be known prior of boarding the bus.

Challenges we ran into

Intregating Bluetooth Low Energy Beacons Card with the Android Application and Backend server .
It was totally new technology to work with .
Thinking about different scenarios and making application smart enough to handle edge cases .
