Indian citizens often face challenges with data access, authenticity, and privacy when sharing sensitive information like banking, Aadhaar, and mutual fund data with multiple entities. Verifying this data for different applications—be it for loans, financial management, or identity verification—can be slow, prone to errors, and risky. ZkAccess leverages Account Aggregator technology and zero-knowledge credentials to simplify this process, allowing users to securely obtain and share verifiable credentials without compromising their privacy or data security.
One of the major challenges was setting up a FIU, which initially proved complex. With the support of the Sahamati and TruFIU teams, we were able to successfully integrate this essential component. Additionally, during development, a new version of Privado ID was released, prompting us to adapt our workflows to align with the updated flow and incorporate the latest functionalities. This required quick adjustments and coordination to keep our solution up to date while ensuring stability and compatibility.
