We took our inspiration from Carl Pullein's blog post "Productivity is not about doing more work.", where he has described that how it is not at all important to do a lot of work in order to be productive instead, we can do whatever makes us happy and what we love!
We are currently living in two pandemics: the virus, and what “Forbes” calls a stress epidemic. According to a survey conducted by Everyday Health, approximately 1/3 of people visited a doctor about something stress-related, with 57% admitting they’re paralyzed by stress
We students and young professionals are facing a huge amount of social, financial, and academic pressure causing a significant increase in mental stress and anxiety, during the pandemic. We find it hard to find the external motivation to get us off our seats or simply reflect on how we're feeling amidst our work. Overall, we needed something that would incite us to take better care of ourselves.
With Zen-Mind, we want to help people with stress, anxiety, depression.
● Realize their ability to take control of their condition and take actionable steps to obtain a positive impact on their mental health.
● It has information on mental wellness and resources, recommended activities that are COVID friendly, and interactive tools aimed at helping individuals get out of a bad cycle of anxiety.
● Our web app includes a meditation tool with soothing music for those who just need a breather and to regain their presence.
