The problem Yummy Yum solves
Many of us are facing challenges that can be stressful, overwhelming, and cause strong emotions in adults and children, during this pandemic time. So, our team, Maniacoders, have decided to work on creating a Recommendation system in which, based on the theme of Mental Health Awareness, we will try to solve a person’s preferences in past recipes of food, and then, accordingly predict other new tasty recipes that a user might enjoy, and try to spend his time, in making them, amidst this pandemic situation and lockdown periods, to make him not feel isolated, lonely, and stressful.
Challenges we ran into

Building our model was time taking, yet we found many bugs, amidst training and testing steps.

As the user interface plays a key factor, and as we deployed our models on the flask application, we needed to make our site very attractive for the user, so we were facing a real challenge to do so.

After running the server, when the training and testing model began running for the first time, it took time to load into our main page and made it difficult for us to proceed with the same. So, we tried to fix the bug by having a look inside our app.py,, which in turn, help us to correct our mistake, eventually.
