An E2E Voting System built on Maschain BaaS for government authorities to verify and audit votes
The problem YumeVote solves
The trust between Government and citizens is crucial. With many elections happening, citizens demand a transparent and trustable election process. With nowadays way of conducting the election, some people might find the result unreliable. This results in poor citizen satisfaction and a higher rate of “absent vote”. Therefore, with the collaboration between IoT and Blockchain technology, this particular problem will be overcome well.
Challenges we ran into
Arduino is not printing RFID data correctly onto the system
Specifically, the private key and the hash data (which is stored on the RFID card) is either too long or contains special characters which is not supported by the card that we are using. Had to use hex format and convert the value manually from the Voting UI Application
FastAPI Cors Error (Website cannot access API)
Implemented FastAPI Middleware
General Project Management and Communication Issues
There are some misunderstandings here and there, but was resolved due to the need to finish the projects as quick as possible
