The problem YoutTube Party solves

In these difficult times, where people are mostly staying home the social life of the people is totally disturbed which is leading to mental depression. It is really important for everyone to be in touch with their friends/colleagues at this moment and have some fun.
We all love YouTube for its amazing content. Everyone loves binge-watching YouTube videos. But it would have been great if we could watch it with friends in real-time. Our app provides a platform for you to do exactly this.
You can create a room by entering your display name and room name. Your friends can then join you by entering the same room name. After joining the room, anyone can enter a URL for a YouTube video in the search bar at the top and that video will start playing in sync with all the participants in the room.

Challenges we ran into

If the video is running and some new participant joins the room then he/she will not be able to watch the video.
If the user drags along the progress bar instead of directly going to some timestamp then that change is not reflected.
