Traditional voting systems in colleges often face fraud, centralization, and accessibility
issues. Manual voting is prone to manipulation, duplicate votes, and lack of transparency,
while digital voting systems often rely on centralized authorities, making them vulnerable to
tampering and trust issues.
To solve these challenges, blockchain technology offers a tamper-proof, decentralized
solution that ensures fairness, transparency, and security. However, implementing a
trustless, decentralized voting system that restricts voting to verified college students
while maintaining one person, one vote is a significant challenge.
This project aims to develop a Decentralized Voting Platform where only verified college
students can vote, using an ERC-20 token as proof of eligibility. The system should be
secure, transparent, and user-friendly, eliminating the need for a central authority while
ensuring a fair election process.
